Employee Assistance Foundation

For more than 20 years, our Employee Assistance Foundation has supported team members through life’s toughest moments, including family crises, the loss of a loved one and home damage caused by natural disasters. We come together for our DG team when they need it most.

Serving Our Communities with Programs and Resources

Our charitable giving supports more than two million individuals and families each year. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved, make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve, and address issues that help meet the basic human needs we all share. 

Creating pathways of opportunity through literacy and education.

The Dollar General Literacy Foundation (367)

We believe literacy and education play an important role in increasing opportunities for social mobility, civic engagement and economic empowerment.

Since its inception over 30 years ago, the Dollar General Literacy Foundation has donated more than $276 million to adult, family and youth literacy programs to help students of all ages pursue their educational goals. To learn more, visit dgliteracy.org
